Dance department at Johnston is designed to provide the students with a foundation in classic dance techniques, which can carry him/her on and help make them more successful should he/she choose to continue.

Dance with the Stars at Johnston Middle School! We have a wonderful dance studio for students to learn ballet, modern, and jazz. We offer many opportunities for the dance students to perform. The dance department also takes beginners to the art.

JMS dancers work diligently to improve their skills. They are prepared for the Concert Season at Johnston Middle School. In December, the dancers perform along with the musicians in the annual “Ensemble Concert”. This is truly a collaborative effort involving only live music.
